The Line 6 Helix is at the center of Richie's rig. All of the tones you hear come from the Helix and are available for free download here.

His main guitar goes into the Helix via the Audio Technica 3000 series wireless. From there the signal goes directly to Front of House. The Variax Standard guitar goes into the Helix via a VDI cable which allows the Helix to quickly change settings inside the Variax while also providing power to the Variax. The Variax is mainly used for songs that require acoustic guitar sounds, but it also has been modified with Dimarzio magnetic pickups so it also serves as an excellent backup guitar to both the Fodera Imperial and Music Man Axis.

For on stage monitoring a separate output from the Helix goes to a Line 6 Powercab 112 Plus set to Full Range Flat Response mode. Since the whole band is on in-ears, the stage volume is pretty low, so Richie uses a Digitech Freqout pedal in one of the Helix loops for some feedback when needed. Richie also carries an HX Stomp as a backup rig.
